Kineara CIC
Kineara have been awarded a Homewards Fund grant in Lambeth to provide a Community-Based Housing Advice and Support Service for single parents living in temporary accommodation, and a preventative service for lone parents living in insecure private or social rented housing.
The services will focus on early intervention to address urgent housing concerns, provide essential advice, and offer tailored intensive support for those with complex needs, delivering maximum reach through its outreach housing surgeries.
The services aim to empower parents to make decisions that will positively impact on their lives and to ultimately foster better future for families in Lambeth.
“We are incredibly grateful and honoured to have received this grant. The funds will enable Kineara in partnership with Homewards and local organisations to enhance our services, focusing on homelessness prevention and providing vital support for people, especially lone parents, living in both temporary and insecure private rented accommodations. We look forward to collaborating with other services in the borough to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those facing homelessness and living in precarious housing conditions. Thank you for believing in Kineara and choosing us to deliver this service to Lambeth residents and communities.”
