A future without homelessness can mean different things to different people. But imagining it is an important first step towards creating it.
This World Homeless Day, Homewards is asking people across the UK to share their vision of a future without homelessness.
It could be something big. Or something incredibly simple.
It could be never having to worry about where you will sleep next week. Having furniture when you move into a new home. Getting the right support before a difficult situation becomes a crisis. Or knowing that if things go wrong, there are people and systems around you that can help.
Because homelessness is not inevitable. It can be prevented.

Across Homewards, people and organisations are already working differently to prevent homelessness.
That means working with our six flagship locations to look beyond what happens when someone loses their home and focusing on what can happen earlier: the right housing, the right job, the right support and stronger systems around people.
