Prince William arrives in Bournemouth- the second Homewards location unveiled

Prince William has arrived at the Faithworks Carpentry Workshop in Bournemouth as part of his UK tour to launch Homewards. Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole is the second of six locations to be unveiled by Prince William during a UK tour taking place today (Monday 26th June) and tomorrow (Tuesday 27th June).

Faithworks is an enterprising charity which runs practical projects in urban Dorset with the aim of ending loneliness, food poverty and homelessness of all sorts. At their carpentry workshop trainees learn woodworking skills and techniques, as well as benefitting from 1:1 support with life issues and building relationships within a supportive community.

The Prince’s visit will spotlight a practical example of empowering people with skills that helps get them into employment and therefore prevent the cycle of repeat homelessness. His Royal Highness will hear from trainees about the transformative impact of the support they receive in the workshop, and their hopes for the future.
