In Newport, the cost of living, high rents, and lack of homes that people can afford means the number of people experiencing, or at risk of, homelessness is continuing to rise.

Groups the Coalition have identified as most in need of support include families, with greater numbers currently staying in temporary accommodation, and women facing multiple disadvantages.
