The Homelessness
Data Lab
Using data and technology to prevent homelessness before people and families reach crisis point.
A Homewards partnership bringing tech, data and frontline expertise together to scale homelessness prevention across Homewards six flagship locations and beyond.
What is the Homelessness Data Lab?
The Homelessness Data Lab is a national collaboration improving how data and technology are used to prevent homelessness earlier and more effectively.
Delivered in partnership with LandAid and Salesforce, the Data Lab brings together over 25 organisations from across the private sector, charities, government and local services, alongside those with lived experience, to explore how data can be used ethically and responsibly to identify signals of risk before crisis point.

How the Homelessness Data Lab works?
Partners from private sector organisations are working with homelessness charities and local authorities to deliver practical projects, tested in our Homewards locations, to use data better to support earlier intervention.
This includes
As with all Homewards projects, lived experience is embedded across programme design, delivery and evaluation to ensure the solutions that are created will support those at risk.
